This small dental clinic sits inside Hospital No. 126, near the centre of Pripyat. The chair is still in place beneath the examination light, surrounded by broken equipment and scattered paperwork.
Before the evacuation, the hospital complex included emergency care, surgery, maternity wards, and dental treatment. It served a city of nearly 50,000 people.
Now the room is quiet and stripped back to its core elements. Just the chair, the lamp, and what’s left of the work that used to happen here.
