Photographed in downtown Los Angeles in 2023 using 35mm experimental film which has been pre-soaked in different chemicals and organic material which decays the film. The unexposed film is then dried before loading to be exposed in my Nikon F100 film camera.
The Arcade Building consists of two 12-story towers connected by a skylit, three-level arcade spanning Spring Street to Broadway. Its exterior showcases Spanish Baroque terracotta arches, with intricate columns framing delicate basement-level arches.
Inspired by London's Burlington Arcade, the arcade originally housed 61 shops under a glass-roofed skylight. A Venetian-style bridge was later added.
