Photographed in Los Angeles in 2022 using 35mm experimental film which has been pre-soaked in different chemicals and organic material which decays the film. The unexposed film is then dried before loading to be exposed in my Nikon F100 film camera.
The Pepperdine University campus in Malibu was once considered an unlikely location due to its rugged terrain. Despite the challenges of developing the land, the stunning beauty of the location, with its ocean views, led the university to settle there, making it one of the most picturesque campuses in the world. Additionally, each September, Pepperdine hosts the "Waves of Flags" display honouring the lives lost in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Nearly 3,000 flags are placed along Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu Canyon Road—one for each victim, along with national flags representing each foreign country that lost a citizen in the attack.
