Photographed in Rose Avenue near Venice Beach in 2023 using 35mm experimental film which has been pre-soaked in different chemicals and organic material which decays the film. The unexposed film is then dried before loading to be exposed in my Nikon F100 film camera.
Rose Avenue's business district runs a mile straight to the Pacific Ocean, capturing the true vibe of Venice—unique, edgy, diverse, and full of surprises. It’s a mix of longtime locals, cool restaurants, and fresh faces from the tech scene.
I love hanging out here and taking photos. This crow paid a visit to the street sign and was dropping nuts from above so passing cars would crack the shell. It would then wait for a red light and retrieve the nuts!
