The chapel was built in the late 1700's and has been abandoned now for over 65 years. It was built to serve the Protestant community. Another Catholic church was already there and still is, less than 400m away, but after the war the protestant community were driven out. A neo-gothic tower was added in the later 1800's. It is built in a rare elliptical shape. There is still a dispute on who built it to this day.. but one of the candidates was world-renowned, and he built a famous monument in Germany.
Many of it's features have been used in the local community for building materials, such as the pews, chandelier, flooring, altar and organ. Yet it still remains as a beautiful building with quite unique architecture, even if quite skeletal in form. It is now under renovation.

Printing
- Your print is produced in-house at Gina Soden’s studio. The quality of your artwork is important, once printed Gina Soden personally checks each artwork individually.
- Prints are produced using Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm Giclee, a premium quality paper, which is perfect for Gina Soden’s brightly coloured and textured images. This archival paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth and image definition.
Framing
- Your artwork will then be framed to conservation standard
- The frame profile will be approx 40mm wide by 30mm deep.
- Off-white textured acid free mount.
- 2mm clear standard picture glass (UV protected 66%) Low reflection option available.
- Mounted onto acid free backing board.
- 2mm Kraftboard back.
- Fixings are included for hanging.
Delivery
- Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
- Unframed works will be sent in a tube via a signed delivery service.
- Framed works will be safely packaged, crated and insured and will then be delivered via a courier or international shipper.
