This enormous and decaying power station has been abandoned since 2007. It was one of the largest coal plants in the country; built in the early 1920's and in 2007 the power station closed down
I slept in here overnight, accessing the main building by walking up through the conveyor belt building. The air inside was musty and smelt of metal. I made my way to the control room, and from here could see the sun shining over the cooling towers just over the other side of the river.
I chose this composition as I loved the different colours and textures it offered.
