This was photographed in an abandoned hospital which opened in the late 1800’s for the wives of the British Army's personnel. This was a small hospital which housed around 50 beds across 11 wards. It featured small details such as staircases with shallow steps to allow midwives and nurses in long dresses to run up/down them with ease. It was closed in the 1990’s. Today this structure is treated as a building of local importance and will soon become housing retaining many of its original features.
Visiting here is a good memory - as I still can’t believe we didn’t get caught by the security guard. When we saw him we immediately dived to the ground with a huge bright blue Ikea bag full of props for a photoshoot. Somehow he didn't see us and we managed to get into this amazing hospital. Unfortunately the main part of the hospital was alarmed at this point but I managed a few hours photographing this very derelict maternity unit.

Delivery
- Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
