This hospital was built in the middle of the 1800's. The building was a shell of what was once a great complex however it is now under renovation and nearly completed. It was designed by architects in a grand Italian-Style.
The corridors (depicted in this artwork) and most of the cells and wards have a honeycomb vaulted ceiling. It was a common belief that the honeycomb design was to reduce noise levels, but it was actually a type of fireproofing. It was a style that was commonplace in mid-nineteenth century hospitals.

- The frame profile will be approx 40mm wide by 30mm deep.
- Off-white textured acid free mount.
- 2mm clear standard picture glass (UV protected 66%) Low reflection option available.
- Mounted onto acid free backing board.
- 2mm Kraftboard back.
- Fixings are included for hanging.
Delivery
- Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
- Unframed works will be sent in a tube via a signed delivery service.
- Framed works will be safely packaged, crated and insured and will then be delivered via a courier or international shipper.
