I accessed this chateau a few times, once very early in the morning after a 7 hour journey here. At that time, the castle had only one floor. A century after its construction, the façade of the chateau was altered and a second floor was added. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAfter World War II, the property remained uninhabited and it was eventually sold in the 1980’s to a French lawyer. Unfortunately part of the building collapsed in the late 1990s. I visited a few times in 2016.
