This work was created from a photograph of an abandoned chateau in France. I made this on my art residency at Villa Lena in 2021.
The work is a different method of collage. This photo was of an abandoned chateau in France now used as an education centre.
I took an existing print of this photo and cut into the image and layered in elements. I used a duplicate print to emboss them and collage them into the existing print. I then hand painted papers and stencilled papers with mediums.
