Photographed in a beautiful abandoned 19th century church in Italy, not far from Venice.
This church was closed over 60 years ago and since then slowly vegetation has engulfed a large area of the Romanesque-Gothic structure.
I had to be as quiet as a mouse sneaking in here, as we were entering the twigs snapping underfoot and tiles crunching actually made quite a lot of noise.
Then a calmness once I'd found my composition after fighting through the vegetation. It was so serene just taking this all in while I was taking the exposures.

Printing
- Your print is produced in-house at Gina Soden’s studio. The quality of your artwork is important, once printed Gina Soden personally checks each artwork individually.
- Prints are produced using Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm Giclee, a premium quality paper, which is perfect for Gina Soden’s brightly coloured and textured images. This archival paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth and image definition.
Framing
- Your artwork will then be framed to conservation standard
- The frame profile will be approx 40mm wide by 30mm deep.
- Off-white textured acid free mount.
- 2mm clear standard picture glass (UV protected 66%) Low reflection option available.
- Mounted onto acid free backing board.
- 2mm Kraftboard back.
- Fixings are included for hanging.
Delivery
- Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
- Unframed works will be sent in a tube via a signed delivery service.
- Framed works will be safely packaged, crated and insured and will then be delivered via a courier or international shipper.
