Figli di Edison was photographed in an abandoned summer camp in Italy. These camps housed the children of the workers of the nearby Edison factory for several weeks over the summer holidays typically. The complex had well built accomandation, swimming pools and other leisure facilities all set into a hillside surrounding Lake Maggiore. It had a spectacular view and fresh mountain air. I photographed this on a solo trip on my way to my art residency in Tuscany. I hiked down the hill and spent several hours photographing this beautiful building, which had been reclaimed by nature in different areas, with this part being a bit more discreet with red and green ivy.

Printing
- Your print is produced in-house at Gina Soden’s studio. The quality of your artwork is important, once printed Gina Soden personally checks each artwork individually.
- Prints are produced using Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm Giclee, a premium quality paper, which is perfect for Gina Soden’s brightly coloured and textured images. This archival paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth and image definition.
Framing
- Your artwork will then be framed to conservation standard*
- Framed in matt white moulding approx. 40mm wide by 30mm deep.
Other mouldings and colours upon request. - Off-white textured acid free mount.
- 2mm clear standard picture glass (UV protected 66%) – Higher UV protection or low reflection glass can be used, quotes upon request.
- Mounted onto acid free backing board.
- 2mm Kraftboard back.
- Fixings are included for hanging.
Delivery
- Delivery or international shipment is individually quoted upon your order.
- Please allow 2 weeks for delivery, 3 weeks for international orders.
- All artworks will be packaged carefully and insured.
- Unframed works will be sent in a tube via a signed delivery service.
- Framed works will be safely packaged and delivered via a courier or international shipper at a time convenient for you.
- With your artwork there will be a signed & numbered certificate of authenticity.
