This small abandoned hospital in Germany was originally a private residence before being converted into a retirement home and residential care centre for the elderly. Functioning more like a care home, it provided comfort and support.
Nestled in a wooded area, its peaceful surroundings made it an ideal setting for high standards of care. The main staircase and the living room, which featured a beautifully carved wooden fireplace, were particularly impressive. It was easy to imagine how charming this place must have been in its prime, with its elegant details and secluded location. However, its multi-level layout and raised entrance made access difficult for residents. This is one of the main reasons it was forced to close.

- Prints are produced using Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm Giclee, a premium quality paper, which is perfect for Gina Soden’s brightly coloured and textured images. This archival paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth and image definition.
Framing
- Your artwork will then be framed to conservation standard
- The frame profile will be approx 40mm wide by 30mm deep.
- Off-white textured acid free mount.
- 2mm clear standard picture glass (UV protected 66%) Low reflection option available.
- Mounted onto acid free backing board.
- 2mm Kraftboard back.
- Fixings are included for hanging.
Delivery
- Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
- Unframed works will be sent in a tube via a signed delivery service.
- Framed works will be safely packaged, crated and insured and will then be delivered via a courier or international shipper.
