It was amazing to come across this formerly abandoned chateau, going down the long tree lined driveway and seeing the beautiful stonework and single turret. It looked amazing in the hot August sun. I then saw a car and someone in the grounds. No chance to see it now right?! I was gutted and thinking I was too late...
I attempted my best French to ask if we could shoot the chateau.. Only to laugh that this topless bloke strimming the grass and drinking local cider was actually from Liverpool. That threw me a bit!
Here was Ashley, one half of the brave duo who bought this beautiful abandoned chateau who had a quick chat with his other half Terry and they kindly allowed myself and a friend to photograph their new home.
Really loved this staircase, the whole chateau had a huge amount of wood panelling in it. Rather unique!

Printing
- Your print is produced in-house at Gina Soden’s studio. The quality of your artwork is important, once printed Gina Soden personally checks each artwork individually.
- Prints are produced using Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm Giclee, a premium quality paper, which is perfect for Gina Soden’s brightly coloured and textured images. This archival paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth and image definition.
Framing
- Your artwork will then be framed to conservation standard
- The frame profile will be approx 40mm wide by 30mm deep.
- Off-white textured acid free mount.
- 2mm clear standard picture glass (UV protected 66%) Low reflection option available.
- Mounted onto acid free backing board.
- 2mm Kraftboard back.
- Fixings are included for hanging.
Delivery
- Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
- Unframed works will be sent in a tube via a signed delivery service.
- Framed works will be safely packaged, crated and insured and will then be delivered via a courier or international shipper.
