This cooling tower could cool up to 480,000 gallons of water per minute.
I climbed up the wooden slats on the inside to reach the middle platform, only to find a door open and stairs on the other side, which I initially avoided because of potentially being spotted. Nearby was a huge powerstation which I have also photographed and slept in overnight. It is all set to be demolished very soon.
For this shot I used a fisheye lens to get as much in the image as possible.
